Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) Recruitment 2025 across multiple streams.

About the Recruitment
SEBI invites applications for the following streams: General, Legal,
Information Technology, Research, Official Language,
Engineering (Electrical), and Engineering (Civil). SEBI is a statutory body
established by an Act of Parliament to protect investors, promote market development, and regulate the securities
market.

Educational Qualifications
- General: Master’s/PG Diploma (2 years) in any discipline OR Bachelor’s in Law/Engineering OR CA/CFA/CS/CMA.
- Legal: Bachelor’s Degree in Law; 2 years’ Advocate experience desirable.
- Information Technology: B.E./B.Tech (any branch) OR any Bachelor’s + 2-year PG in CS/IT/CA/related.
- Research: Master’s/PG Diploma (2 years) in Economics/Commerce/Finance/Stats/Data Science, etc.
- Official Language: Master’s in Hindi/Hindi Translation with English at graduation (or vice-versa).
- Engineering (Electrical/Civil): Bachelor’s in respective branch; relevant project/maintenance experience desirable.
Eligibility & Age Limit
Candidates must not have exceeded 30 years of age as on September 30, 2025
(born on or after October 1, 1995). Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government norms.
Final-year students awaiting results can apply but must produce proof of qualification before joining.
Educational Qualification & Experience (Stream-wise)

- Master’s Degree/PG Diploma* (minimum two years) in any discipline; OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law; OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; OR
- Chartered Accountant (CA) / Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) / Company Secretary (CS) / Cost Accountant (CMA).
*PG Diploma must be equivalent to a Master’s Degree in that discipline as recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Legal (20 posts)
- Mandatory: Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
- Desirable experience: Two years’ post-qualification experience as an Advocate (including as an associate in an Advocate’s/Solicitor’s office or law firm) after enrolment under the Advocates Act, 1961.

Information Technology (22 posts)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (any branch); OR
- Any Bachelor’s Degree plus a two-year PG qualification in Computer Science / Computer Application / Information Technology.

Research (4 posts)
- Master’s Degree/PG Diploma* (minimum two years) in any of: Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Econometrics, Quantitative Economics, Financial Economics, Mathematical Economics, Business Economics, Agricultural Economics, Industrial Economics, Business Analytics; OR
- Master’s Degree/PG Diploma* (minimum two years) in any of: Finance, Quantitative Finance, Mathematical Finance, Quantitative Techniques, International Finance, Business Finance, International & Trade Finance, Project & Infrastructure Finance, Agri. Business Finance; OR

- Desirable experience:
- Working knowledge of electronic systems such as CCTV, Addressable Security & Fire Alarm systems, EPABX, UPS, etc.
- Experience in maintenance of lifts, pumps, air-conditioning plants, etc.
- Experience administering construction projects (all aspects) and knowledge of PERT/CPM techniques.

Engineering (Civil) (3 posts)
- Mandatory: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Desirable experience:
- Maintenance of office/residential properties/colonies.
- Administering construction projects (all aspects) and knowledge of PERT/CPM.
- Working knowledge of computer-aided structural design in CAM/CAD/MS Project or Primavera; evaluation/analysis of tenders.
- Working knowledge in structural rehabilitation works.
- Experience in Construction and Project Management.
Note: Candidates who have appeared/are appearing for the final examination by the last date of online application are eligible for the selection process; joining is subject to producing proof of qualification.

- Phase I: Online Examination (two papers)
- Phase II: Online Examination (two papers)
- Phase III: Interview

Salary and Benefits

- Gross Salary (Mumbai): ₹1,84,000/month (without accommodation) and ₹1,43,000/month (with accommodation).
