Delhi Police Constable Syllabus 2025 and Exam Pattern

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official Delhi Police Constable Recruitment 2025 Notification along with the detailed Exam Pattern and Syllabus. Candidates aiming to join the Delhi Police as Constable (Executive) must go through the updated syllabus, marking scheme, and selection process before starting their preparation.

Selection Process for Delhi Police Constable 2025

The selection process comprises four major stages:

  • Computer-Based Examination (CBE)
  • Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT)
  • Document Verification
  • Medical Examination

Marks obtained in the CBE will determine the final merit, while the PE&MT and Medical Tests are qualifying in nature.

Delhi Police Constable Exam Pattern 2025

The Computer-Based Examination will be objective-type with 100 multiple-choice questions carrying 100 marks. Each question will be of one mark, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Physical Measurement Standards

  • Male Height: Minimum 170 cm (Relaxation up to 5 cm for hill area residents and ST candidates)
  • Male Chest: 81–85 cm (with 4 cm expansion; relaxation up to 5 cm in some categories)
  • Female Height: Minimum 157 cm (Relaxation up to 2 cm for hill areas and ST candidates)

Medical Standards

  • Vision: 6/12 without glasses in both eyes
  • No color blindness or corrective surgery allowed
  • Candidates must be free from any defect or disease affecting performance
  • Tattoos are allowed only on traditional sites (left forearm or dorsum of hand) and must be small in size
