Previous Year Question (PYQs)

Ten years ago, the average age of $A$ and $B$ was $20$ years. The average age of $A,B,C$ is $30$ years today. How old will $C$ be after $5$ years?

Solution

$A+B$ (10 years ago) $=40$. Today $A+B=40+20=60$. Today $A+B+C=3\times30=90 \Rightarrow C=90-60=30$. After $5$ years $=30+5=35$.
